The renovated Third Gynecological Clinic of Reproductive Medicine was officially launched in 2012. Practically, “Maichin dom” restores the fertility clinic, in which more than 20 years ago began the first experiments in Bulgaria for in vitro fertilization. There are three wards in it – IVF, gynecological endocrinology and child gynecology.
The new clinic meets all world and European standards in medical practice and is the only State IVF clinic.
Blood tests to incoming patients can be performed in office of 219 fl. 2, after being provided with the required slip from office 224.
Before admission to the clinic the patient has to go through hospital registry check.
Every newly admitted patient leaves her clothes at the hospital’s locker room which is located in the main lobby of the hospital.
The issuing of work excuse shall be made on the day of discharge from the hospital by the senior midwife
The medical history is issued by the senior midwife, the medical secretary of the clinic and the physician in charge between 12:00 and 13:30h.

Since opening in November 2011 to present more and more patients are turning for help to the team of IVF sector.
In June 2013 were born the first twins – Alexander and Andrew, and two months later, Bozhidar and Joana. The number of pregnant women after IVF, ICSI and intrauterine insemination is growing steadily. The clinic also has a donor sperm bank. Donors are selected so as to fully meet the requirements of the Agency for transplantation. The clinic is in anticipation of the birth of the first baby after insemination with donor material.
The young and dynamic team of the clinic traces and applies the most modern trends in IVF technology worldwide. The capacity of the clinic allows reception of all willing patients, without preliminary lists and need of timeout.
