The renovated Third Gynecological Clinic of Reproductive Medicine was officially launched in 2012. Practically, “Maichin dom” restores the fertility clinic, in which more than 20 years ago began the first experiments in Bulgaria for in vitro fertilization. There are three wards in it – IVF, gynecological endocrinology and child gynecology.
The new clinic meets all world and European standards in medical practice and is the only State IVF clinic.

The clinic is located on the eighth floor of the University Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital “Maichin Dom”. It has a capacity for 20 patients, divided in two departments – “Infertility” and “Gynecological Endocrinology and Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology”.
All types of diagnostic procedures are performed in the clinic – gynecological surgery, endoscopic operations (diagnostic and surgical endoscopy). A significant part of them are directed towards diagnosis and treatment of infertility. They include endoscopic surgery, open abdominal surgery, plastic surgery, stimulations, inseminations, in vitro procedures, etc. The modern OR with its has state-of-the-art equipment together with the high qualification of the staff guarantee the functioning and development of this competitive gynecological clinic.
The head of the clinic is Assoc. Prof. Milko Sirakov, an expert with a lot of experience in the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, gynecological endocrinology and infertility. He is the secretary of the Bulgarian Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Scientific Secretary of the national journal “Obstetrics and Gynecology”(“Akusherstvo i Ginekologia”), chairman of the Bulgarian society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and General Secretary of the European Association of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
